DOCTORADO HD-PUC

El año 2011, el Departamento de Astronomía de la Universidad de Heidelberg y el Instituto de Astrofísica de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile crearon un Programa de Doctorado Ph.D. que aunara los programas de Doctorados existentes en ambas universidades.

La iniciativa busca desarrollar un intercambio entre los dos departamentos universitarios mediante la realización de seminarios, escuelas de verano y simposios, así como talleres que fomenten el desarrollo de nuevos proyectos de investigación conjunta y que estimulen nuevos programas.

El programa ofrece a  los estudiantes graduados de cada universidad una beca de intercambio con el objetivo de trabajar e investigar en la universidad asociada.
